Symposium

Lady Day Symposium 2025

Join us for an evening in celebration of our friendship as teachers and learners and our shared passion for authentic classical liberal arts education.

In addition to fellowship, our one-of-a-kind silent auction, and distinguished keynote speaker, Symposium attendees will be treated to heavy hors d’oeuvres and champagne punch, handmade by our own Mrs. Pantin.

Tickets are $10/person. Space is limited, so reserve yours today. All proceeds will go to offset the cost of the event and benefit the work of the Society.

Attire is business professional. While Saint Winefride’s Society loves kids, this event is intended for grown-ups, so please plan to arrange childcare for your little ones.

Keynote Speaker

The Fellows of Saint Winefride’s Society are honored to welcome Andrew Ellison as our keynote speaker for the 2025 Lady Day Symposium. Mr. Ellison has been a leader in the movement to renew classical education for decades and currently serves as the Vice President for Enrollment at the University of Dallas. He is also a dear friend.

Mr. Ellison’s talk is entitled “Freshness deep down things: Poetry, Science, and the Education of the Young,” a reference to Gerard Manly Hopkins’ famous poem “God’s Grandeur.”

Silent Auction

As part of the Symposium, visit our silent auction, featuring a number of unique vintage book bundles lovingly curated by resident children’s literature expert and Saint Winefride’s Fellow Mary Pantin.

Early bidding opens online at 9am Saturday, March 22nd!
